ONE City Emerging Leaders demonstrate their long-term commitment to excellence and provide further proof that extraordinary young people come from all parts of the city. As past winners of the ONE City Scholarship, these recipients are about to enter their third and fourth years of post-secondary studies. Each of these recipients is a newcomer or a child of newcomers and illustrates the wisdom of Toronto in welcoming them and recognizing what a gift newcomers are to our city.

Both ONE City and The Kassam Foundation also understand that building a life in this city can be rewarding but is not without struggle. Barriers continue to exist. These Emerging Leaders remind us that when we support our young people, great things happen, for them, for their families and for the broader Toronto community. ONE City is so thankful to work in partnership with the Kassam Foundation and with our recipients. Together we can work to make Toronto a place where young people from across the city can build a life of purpose.
